Heartsaver First Aid Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:  first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies.  First Aid instruction includes:  bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few.

Successful completion of the full Heartsaver First Aid Course includes three parts:  Part 1, Heartsaver First Aid online course; Part 2, a hands-on skills practice session with an authorized AHA Heartsaver Instructor within thirty days; Part 3, a hands-on skills test with an authorized AHA Heartsaver Instructor within thirty days.  Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a two-year certification the same day from the American Heart Association.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive First Aid, CPR, and AED knowledge. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1

The American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1 Course, Web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support.  The course includes:  key changes in basic life support, reflecting new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care; critical concepts in high-quality CPR; the American Heart Association Chain of Survival; 1-rescuer CPR and AED for adults, children, and infants; 2-rescuer CPR and AED for adults, children, and infants; differences among adult, child, and infant rescue techniques; bag-mask techniques for adults, children, and infants; rescue breathing for adults, children, and infants; relief of choking for adults, children,  and infants; and CPR with an advanced airway.

Successful completion of the fullBLS for Healthcare Providers Course includes three parts:  Part 1, BLS for Healthcare Providers online course; Part 2, a hands-on skills practice session with an authorized AHA BLS Instructor within thirty days; Part 3, a hands-on skills test with an authorized AHA BLS Instructor within thirty days.  Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a two-year certification the same day from the American Heart Association.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online Part 1
Price:  $25.00 No skills evaluations required  
Time:  This course is online-based only

This course is for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials.  This course teaches:  what bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread, protection from exposure and how to act if exposed, how to clean up after exposure, how to tell or report any exposure  Duration: 1 hour, site-specific instruction varies. AHA provides 24-hour phone support for questions pertaining to the content in this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, students can access a downloadable Participation Certificate upon course completion.  No skills session is required.

Heartsaver CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you CPR, AED, and choking knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an American Heart Association course completion card. You will learn:  Adult CPR and AED use, adult choking, child CPR and AED use (optional), infant CPR (optional), child choking (optional), and infant choking (optional).  CPR instruction includes high-quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask.  Once you begin the course, you’ll have access to the online lessons, videos, manuals and resources for two years, and you can start and stop the course at your convenience until you have finished it at your own pace.  

Successful completion of the full Heartsaver CPR AED Course includes three parts:  Part 1, Heartsaver CPR AED online course; Part 2, a hands-on skills practice session with an authorized AHA Heartsaver Instructor within thirty days; Part 3, a hands-on skills test with an authorized AHA Heartsaver Instructor within thirty days.  Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a two-year certification the same day from the American Heart Association.
